Notice of Ongoing Steam System Maintenance July 11 2023 The safety of all residents, users and visitors of the səmiq̓ʷəʔelə/Riverview Lands is important project team. Steam line repairs are underway along Holly Drive, near the Coast Mental Health Cottages, from now until August. Please reference attached map for details. No disruptions to vehicles or pedestrian traffic are expected. Components of the steam and condensate lines are beyond their life expectancy, and this work is required to maintain adequate pressure in the system. Steam system repairs are part of BC Housing’s ongoing commitment to building maintenance and preservation. An archaeological monitor will continue to oversee all soil-disturbance works, and a qualified arborist will remain involved to ensure minimal disturbance to nearby trees.
